Call for Presentations

Your expertise, experience, and ideas are what make the Connection Conference valuable. We are looking for engaging sessions that respond to the needs of today’s CTE professionals and provide practical ideas they can take back and put into action.

Most importantly, sessions should offer practical tools, resources, and strategies that participants can immediately apply in their classrooms, campuses, and organizations. Hands-on sessions are ones that have been requested to be added this year by our attendees, so we would like to focus on those as much as possible.

The best connections happen when we learn with and from one another. Design your session to encourage collaboration, meaningful conversation, and shared problem-solving. Give participants an opportunity to ask questions, exchange ideas, and build connections that continue long after the conference ends.

Together, we are CONNECTING people, ideas, and opportunities to strengthen CTE and build Arizona’s future. We look forward to seeing the creative and impactful presentations you bring to the 2027 Connection Conference!

Session Length: All sessions are 90 minutes and may be scheduled Friday through Monday.

• Exception: Exhibitor Demonstrations/Sessions will be held on Sunday, July 11, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:50 a.m.
• By submitting a Call for Presentation, you are indicating that you are available to present at any time during the conference.

Submission Limits: 

• Submit a maximum of two Calls for Presentation.
• Submit only for sessions in which you are a presenter.
• Do not submit a Call for Presentation on behalf of another person.

Presentation Information:

• Avoid using acronyms, initials, or ALL CAPS in names, affiliations, titles, or descriptions.
• ACTEAZ/ADE reserves the right to edit session titles and descriptions for length, clarity, and content.
• Presenters and co-presenters are responsible for all conference-related expenses, including travel, lodging, and meals.
• Presenters are responsible for providing any handouts or resources distributed during the session.
• Selling or promoting products or services during conference sessions is not permitted.

By submitting a Call for Presentation, you grant permission for ACTEAZ, ADE, and affiliated organizations to use your name, voice, image, and likeness in conference-related promotional, social media, print, audio, and electronic materials. Submission constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of this release.
